This extends to the recently concluded G20 Summit, which was held in New Delhi. The G20 New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration 2023 places significant emphasis on the responsible development, deployment, and use of AI.
In recognising the transformative potential of AI, the declaration underscores the critical importance of safeguarding human rights, transparency, fairness, accountability, regulation, safety, appropriate human oversight, ethics, biases, privacy, and data protection in the AI landscape. As we stand at the precipice of this technological transformation, the need to approach AI with a profound sense of responsibility and ethical consideration has never been more paramount.
