Arya.ag’s $80 million round tests whether 2026 will be agritech’s breakout year

The profitable grain-commerce platform has completed one of the largest agritech equity raises in recent years, but it remains to be seen whether this marks a broader revival or merely a well-timed exception.

This investor didn’t hide his surprise. After all, he hadn’t expected a miracle this big in a sector he had been tracking closely for a few years now. “It is quite incredible for an agritech company to raise a massive amount while staying profitable consistently,” he said, referring to agritech firm Arya.ag, which raised $80 million in a Series D round from GEF Capital Partners on January 2.
