Long known as a startup talent factory, Flipkart is now using that same bench strength to prepare itself for life as a public company.

Over the past two years, Flipkart has seen noticeable churn at the SVP (senior vice president) level, with at least a dozen senior leaders moving on. Some of these exits have led to prominent roles elsewhere — Amitesh Jha is now CEO of Swiggy Instamart, joined there by former Flipkart executive Ankit Jain as COO. Bharath Ram moved to JioHotstar as chief product officer, while former Cleartrip head Ayyappan R has gone on to start up in quick commerce, among others.
