KiVi (stands for Kisan Vikas or farmer development) is an agrifintech startup incubated at IIT Madras Research Park, focused on aggregating the supply and demand of capital for the farmers and SME buyers. KiVi also enables input distribution and output marketing which augments the lending business and positions it to influence the agri value chain.
KiVi’s vision is to make agriculture a livelihood of choice for millions of farmers. Its technology platform digitizes and organizes farmer lifecycle to remove information asymmetry and reduce transaction cost for all stakeholders.
While financial services will be directly fulfilled by KiVi, it will partner with established players in other value chain areas to deliver best-in class service and value to farmers on its platform.
