SatSure’s bespoke geospatial big data platform combines satellite imagery, proprietary algorithms, with weather, IoT, drone imagery, social and economic datasets, and cadastral amongst others to generate near real time location specific insights. It is an innovative decision analytics leveraging advances in satellites remote sensing, machine learning and big data analytics to provide answers to large area questions across the domains of Agriculture, Banking & Financial Service, Infrastructure and Climate Change Mitigation. In India, SatSure has demonstrated a strong correlation between satellite-derived proprietary crop-related parameters and ground data, which can be exploited by the agri-insurance sector. To facilitate these solutions at a national scale, the organisation is building a 15-year archive of remotely sensed satellite images over the Indian subcontinent, using images from multiple satellites that have been in operation since 2002.
